Infinite Cascading Vision

I have long felt limited by my brushes of sable and ox. Imbuing them with the elements does nothing for the vision I seek to birth – not as with my paints which flow and call to the senses. Certainly, I might and have imbued my brushed to resist wear or even to supply them with preternatural suppleness …I have come upon a solution. As I observed the blazing illuminations flaring out of Bitter Wings and frozen in awe by the destruction wrought by the strange traveling merchant, who surely must have been a mirage, I have been awoken to a world beyond my knowing. How can I achieve wonder and greatness, breath the vital arete into my works or birth the creations swimming in my thoughts, using the toys of an ape?

The brush is the point of conveyance, not the substance, and as such it must better commune with the mind and express the soul. Of all materials I know, there is none that can reflect the individual so well as the shimmering flesh of Szoreny. I came across the peculiar properties while studying demon summoning, alongside oath and pact there was a description of the bodily forms of hells patrons, the Silver Forest was one of these. I’ll admit he was not my first thought, Ligier is known even amongst the lodges of the Guild as a grandmaster without compare. Curious that such a being would cross my mind – but Szoreny is truly uneclipsed in matters of introspection. I speculate even Oramus, trapped within himself, has not so well traveled these hidden roads as the Silver Forest has. Granted, in a century or more it would be a project worthy of some years research. I may well revisit this again as my understanding of what I have become is more solid – certainly Oramus’ connection to the Beyond could act as a mighty conduit to my own spark. I ramble…

The silver wood will allow for greater embodiment of the images and visions that flit about my mind – I find some of my most profound thoughts come to me from the Beyond and are most difficult to hold. To see them reflected in the surface of the wood – what better snare for such wayward and alien contemplations. Channeling those imaginings into the essence of the paint will require another material close to my heart and being. The birthright of the Moonkindred, Lunar Argentium. I hear tell Szoreny’s sap is a quicksilver most similar and I can only assume they will synergize. It is my theory that the Lunar Argentium, properly ensorcelled, will act as a foci and point of transference for the purpose and meanings in those flitting images. It could be a breakthrough for my technique, no longer limited to calling to the senses with song and scent, I could give my creations the first echo of a soul – realized meaning.

This brings me to the final piece, probably the least significant, but just as crucial as the others. To paint something as ephemeral and fragile as thoughts and meaning will require the finest and most delicate of bristles. Furthermore, the Wyld is attuned to the carrying of dream and vision – so any material should be bathed in its essence. I have never heard of another using the baleen of the Praesula Nebulae, granted I have never heard tell of any of my techniques in use by another, regardless it is the finest material I know of. No doubt the acquisition of this component is something I can trust to no other – the baleen will quickly erode in Creation without the strength of a living Cloud Dancer empowering it, without the Wyld to allow something so sheer to exist under its own weight within the laws of our world. They will need to be elementally imbued moments after death or I fear they will fall away to gossamer dust.

Seldom do I look forward to a project as much as this one. This tool, no, this creature will be the mother of countless wonders and I name it:
